Never have I had so strong a feeling that morality is a merry-go-round, a spinning top.  I knew this before, of course; but I had always imagined its phases must be centuries or aeons— now they seemed to me to be minutes or seconds.  There was a flickering before my eyes.  And inside me, my only guide in this witches’ dance, I heard again a voice whisper between its teeth: Have a care, Priest!

Say good things about your company so that they don’t grow up thinking that employers are monsters. Say good things about your job and how you felt about it while you were doing it. Invite them to participate in the new phase of the family life, without making them feel overburdened by a financial problem.
